Four Geese

Miniature for Virtual Orchestra

First draft of a piece for virtual orchestra inspired by the third movement of Mahler's first symphony.

It begins with a 47 note cluster and is followed by CC canons (canons in the continuous controller data). A "band" eventually enters. The piece ends with clusters and a diminuendo in which the reverb levels increase as the volume decreases.

A song I wrote using the poem, Soir d'hiver, by Emile Nelligan. This version includes ossias for soprano (it is meant for a mezzo).
