This year I got asked to showcase some of my more emotional. chill music, that I produce (and mix). At first I took it as a hit to the ego, not playing my usual midnight massacre of beats, but then I realized I had a job to facilitate an experience, and felt honored that I had been asked.
This is a much different journey than the ones I have previously taken you on, this is much like my mix in the Shapes series.
Thank you to Byron, The Grove, and especially the whole team at The Secret Garden. Not only did they make it sound immaculate, they also recorded the set for me. It wouldn't be here without them.

Sometimes I still get up in my head about meeting these guys. In this weeks case,  I went to the label boss of one of the hottest labels in DNB to ask if he could get her to do a mix for us because in my mind that felt more comfortable...lol. It turns out I should have just sent her a message. She's the nicest! Representing Overview Music, North Carolina, and American underground dance music culture, please welcome VELLE. There are a few producers in North America writing music at her level. What's funny, is most American DNB heads probably have no idea she's American.
