Le moment est venu de clôturer cette année 2014 et c'est the Svens, le duo strasbourgeois plein de promesses, qui vous offre sa vision de l'année écoulée. 

Beaucoup d'oreilles ont pu apprécier le talent des 2 jeunes producteurs ces derniers mois, à commencer par le public strasbourgeois : au cours de leur passage à la Laiterie, un des lieux les plus influents de la vie nocturne à Strasbourg, pour le lancement du label KUMA Records dont ils font désormais partie, au Rafiot Club pour leurs nombreuses résidences et dans bien d'autres endroits de la capitale européenne. Leur plus grosse perf' en 2014 restera bien évidemment leur EP "Odéon" signé chez Greco-Roman. Cette house old-school et disco en aura rafraîchi plus d'un. On retrouve quelques commentaires bien léchés de Laurent Garnier, Deetron ou encore Jamie XX, et des papiers de la part de THUMP et Mixmag pour appuyer la qualité du duo et ses 2 nouvelles productions.

En tant que blog strasbourgeois, il était évident d'offrir cette mixtape rétrospective à des artistes du coin qui ont su faire parler d'eux et ont participé aux changements de la vie nocturne à Strasbourg. Bonne écoute !

On en profite également pour vous dire un grand merci pour votre soutien, votre présence, vos commentaires, vos critiques, vos remerciements, vos sourires... Bref, tout ce qui nous permet d'avancer, de grandir et que vous nous offrez chaque jour. Ce fût une belle année. Un grand merci également aux artistes qui ont participé à l'aventure et qui permettent l'évolution de notre projet.

the Svens // Closin' Ceremony [STM #37]

"ah ohh, ah ohh, ah ohh": it's easy to describe Nils Hoffmann as the 16-yo producer of the famous "Balloons" track (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hb9-8X9dY_k), lately remixed by AKA AKA & Thalstroem and Martin Roth. However Nils has achieved more than that the past few years. He signed his first EP called "Verwunschen" one year later on Lochmann Records. Numerous remixes have followed on Poesie Musik, Playperview and recently "Animal Logic", his last production, on the young label Trndmusik.

His mixtape gives a further step to our Smile This Mixtape serie and we are very thankful for what he did with this #38.
