Leading electronic producers and composers Anyma (from Tale Of Us) and Chris Avantgarde join forces to create a new collaboration “Consciousness”. 

Anyma’s first vocal single of 2022 follows  his widely celebrated, Kate Bush inspired single “Running,” which has  been a cross genre staple within electronic music since its release back in late 2021.

By combining Anyma’s dominant synthesisers and Chris Avantgarde’s scoring talents the track balances an eerie robotic vocal, detailing the  definition of consciousness itself - atop frenetic drums and robust synths. Anyma has been busy touring as one half of the esteemed techno duo Tale Of Us, where “Consciousness” has become the opening track that sets the vivid scene that Anyma and Tale Of Us are known for. Anyma will continue to tour extensively this year with a residency at Ibiza’s famed super-club Hï, with countless global appearances this summer such as EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and many more.

For Catalog 69, Radikon is proud to welcome back the bold & dynamic Berlin producer duo ALMA. 'Desires' includes two sublime original tracks and a powderkeg remix by label co-founder Jonas Saalbach. ALMA's drums-forward, percussive style is front-and-center right off the starting line with 'Desires'. Concrete grit textures, nostalgic pulses and cyclic noises set the atmosphere for delicate, almost vulnerable vocals while a hypnotic arpeggio moves the listener in a sine arc of emotions. Skintight percussion and melancholic synth pads wrap the groove tightly around its elemental core. Next in the package is Jonas Saalbach's title track rework. Precision-targeted directly at this summer's steamy dancefloors, this remix delivers and in spades. Although it's not possible to be with all of you at the moment, we're still able to communicate through our music. We are delighted to share our new Song 'Home' with you, a collective effort from Delhia de France, Marino Canal and us.

As Marino had multiple appearances on Siamese Records like 'A Fire in the Sun' or 'Dreamt of Tomorrow' and we've already worked successfully with Delhia de France in the past on 'Tachykardia' from our debut album 'Nude' as well as our much-loved remix for her track 'Tremors :Nemesis', it seemed inevitable to work on a track all together.

Delhia had originally written 'Home' as a song creating an ambiance that beautifully resembles the feeling of stillness. "It's about someone scared of true intimacy running away from themself, but being seen by the other person who is offering a safe space, a home in the moment. With what we are is experiencing right now, many people are faced with a sudden stillness and it's hard for a lot of us to deal with it. Being forced to really be with oneself, in solitude" Delhia says.

The world hit pause and we had to re-evaluate our patterns of behavior, re-think life, re-appreciate the things that, too often, go unnoticed and most of all face our own fears. It could teach us that the true home lies in the moment. It's the safest place to be, where no fear exists, as there is no need for the past nor the future.
