Consists of Act II nr.s 4-6 namely: 4. “Tradition 3,” a riff on the theme song of Fiddler on the Roof; 5. “The Fifth Reich” a play on the reference, Steve Reich, and his horror of his name's historical relevance which was subject matter for the show; 6. “Cloud Study” an extreme slow-down and retuning of chords that appear in the work's first Act. The clouds of difference tones produced by the sine waves were the object of study, relating the clouds to dream. TRIGGER WARNING: The work can make people nauseous due to the difference tones produced. For me, the degree of intensity speaks to the intensity of sickness I feel at the torturously painful christian afterlives to which white oppressors have long subjected Jews, Zionists to Palestinians, and all imperialisms in sum to nigh-all peoples.

Narrow Are the Vessels ROVA Saxophone Quartet 1980

Never before released. Premiered by ROVA and Kronos String Quartets in San Fransisco, CA,  Moers Jazz Festival in Moers Germany with the WDR Radio String Quartet and as heard here by the Bratislava String  and ROVA Saxophone Quartet. Unfortunately the names of the German and Chech Quartets have been lost in the fog of time... if you know their names let me know please so I can properly credit them and their fabulous playing on this work. Good time to credit Lori B with her fabulous photos.
