took the second section in the track as it felt like i was trying to do too much initially. took the empty space, filled it up with echoes and reverbs. messing with echo timing in the stereo space and distortion and flipping the intro vs chorus formula by making the "chorus." smaller. ..,,,, ?

a lot of times, i've tried to make a synth lead that sounded like the stars. i think i did it this time!

i tried to use some of the effects i found out about over the course of this class in this one - the "lead" synth uses cabinet, the noise makes a lot of use of amp, so on. 
honestly the thing i got the most out of this class was the space that it gave us, where like-minded people were able to sit in a room and talk about whatever (and make whatever!), listen to each other's stuff and watch each other improve, and collaborate too. speaking from experience it is usually very hard to get musicians to collaborate. we're like cats.
