A proper name, which suits these artists who excel in live show, and who were able to find their own out-of-the-ordinary language, between electro, trance and Italo and confirm their uncompromising, colorful and positive club culture.

Premiere: Superski - It's Always Fun At The Beginning

Superski is a dynamic duo made up of heavy hitters Voiski and Eliott Litrowski. Together the pair have teamed up to collaborate on new music based around a common love for analogical synthesizers and their vision of a colourful and positive club culture. 

Their music is fun, euphoric and rooted in all the things that makes dance music great.

In respect of influences they draw upon a great deal blurring the lines between House, Italo and Techno and there is something very 80's about the whole undercurrent behind the project. Think led lights and sunsets.

We invited the pair to record a mixtape which represents their sound and what they have delivered is a masterclass in funk - a no holds barred affair packed with energy and wild cuts.

Here is the recording of my set at the lovely Kune Festival in Ungdomsøen Island, Denmark.

Kune is A 5-day festival that takes place on an island 30 minutes away from Copenhagen. It is the second time I play this festival and it has always been a very special show. The stages are outsanding and the crew behind it is really pationate, as well as the crowd coming to the festival. I was also able to play vinyls which is quite unique at festivals these days. To me, Kune feels like an extremely well organised free party rather than a proper festival and I love it!

I don't really often release recording of live shows as sometimes it takes time to find the right vibe, and I am always trying different things in order to catch everyone's mood :)
This time was pretty smooth and I played some of my favorites. Even If I played the "techno stage", I tried to keep it quite housy and played faster than I usually do but still kept it groovy and fun.

I haven’t been doing much warm up lately, but I’m always excited to open a good party - especially in such a wonderful space as Ikke Åben (a small warehouse in Copenhagen). I played quite early and kept it slower than usual, transitioning from ambient to house, to electro, couple of guilty pleasures, and a bit of everything in between.
It was a nice evening, so here it is - enjoy!

I almost always have this record with me, but I rarely play it. You really need to find the right moment for it, but when that moment comes, it’s incredible. Such a beautiful remix. Extremely sexy.

The Confort, Vass’s label from London. A very diverse imprint with a strong blend of house and electro. Small, but powerful.

One club/party to highlight :
Essence in Copenhagen. A DIY party organised by wonderful people in a beautiful location.The vibe is very good. Probably the best party around!

Another track I had completely forgotten about and was so happy to rediscover. I used to play it a lot back then, but now it’s back in my record bag.

I took the brief very seriously and really dug deep into my record collection, also taking the time to buy a few records I’d been searching for for a long time, a strong mix of old and new that clearly reflects what I enjoy playing at the moment.
