Roman Flügel – third take. Hot on the heels of "Brian Le Bon" and the "Desperate Housemen EP", the man like Roman IV, Soylent Green and Alter Ego’s spectacled half supplies four tracks of heavenly proportions. Ramona doesn’t even know where to start with her eulogy, but at the start. The EP opener "O.T.H." feels like a time travel to bleepy Sheffield and dreamy Detroit while wearing the equipment of today. Same goes for "Girls With Status" that acts as a mellow 808 yet straight forward counter part to the Balearic beach grip hop that is "Thank You Jack". Crowning all that is the gurning bass line reverie of "Cookie Dust" that will leave you and your favourite DJ top and speechless. Enough descriptions! What’s left to say? Oh yes, this record had Gerd Janson salivating – and he won’t be the only one.

Junk Yard Rhythm Section is about rhythm allright, keeping things to a certain level of quality and style.

Falling gets you from sec 1 dripping with a cool flow of vocal work in combination with the classic moogy bass, setting a comfortable tablet for the ears. On the other hand Gin & Tonic is more breathy and with a really pop mid 90's funk that stings your memories . Disco arps do the trick as always creating a dominating pulse.

We are very pleased that mr Loulou rec that goes by the name Kolombo is here to gave us a twist and share some love on remix duties. Re shaping the lovely Falling into an invention of pure catalistic joy. Harmonically spot on and
recrafted with his taunt bouncing skills, we couldnt think a better way to wrap things up . 

We are moving forward creating a slow build up reputation and Junk Yard Rhythm Section place another stone into what we believe stands out as quality.

Following acclaimed excursions on Hypercolour (‘Needs You EP’) and Will Saul’s Aus Music (‘Child EP’) last year, George FitzGerald is preparing to make his return to his Hotflush home for the first time since 2011. Premiering in FitzGerald’s debut Radio 1 Essential Mix last month as part of the ‘2013’s Future Stars’ series, ‘Thinking Of You’ is scheduled to drop as a Beaport exclusive on 18th March, with full physical release and accompanying tracks to follow in May.
 
Having displayed his innate understanding of how to craft a musical narrative with the Essential Mix, ‘Thinking Of You’ turns to the darker realms of the dance floor imbued with the same kind of precision-tooled grooves, nuanced melodic touch and emotive shades that have garnered him such praise in the past.
 
The last twelve months have been extremely busy for FitzGerald as he continues to capture the attention of industry heads and fans alike with his refined and emotive homegrown club music. Releasing music on his regular home Hotflush, as well as Will Saul’s Aus Music imprint and the acclaimed Hypercolour stable, not to mention his own burgeoning ManMakeMusic imprint, FitzGerald's flourishing discography continues to grow steadily but impeccably.
