In just 2 years, Farsi has enjoyed great success with his numerous appearances on BBC Radio, creating music for popular YouTube vloggers, all whilst building an ever-increasing and self-sustaining fan base.
Farsi blesses Eton Messy Records with his emotional and atmospheric sound via his new killer track, ‘Don’t’. Harnessing garage-influenced booms and broken beats, the track skillfully balances these uptempo rhythms with understated vocals, leaving us feeling entrenched in the psychedelic and ambient textures of the track. The melodic synth cascading in and out of the track only adds to the nostalgic feel of this summery song.

‘Don’t’ is yet another testament to Farsi’s multi-instrumental background; it masterfully showcases his wide- ranging skill in combining several electronic and dance sub-genres into one smooth and transcendent tune.

 After a rain-stopping performance at Glastonbury last week, Little Dragon have announced a surprise London show at Corsica Studios as part of Boiler Room TV. The gig will be streamed live online between 7pm-8pm on Tuesday 18 July at http://www.boilerroom.tv/live

Having already been all over the airwaves with ‘Wildfire’ by SBTRKT on which they feature, they are is set to continue their meteoric rise to success with the release of ‘Ritual Union’ which has already bagged plays from Zane Lowe, Annie Mac and Lauren Laverne, who said they are “the coolest band in the world right now”. DJ Shadow seems to agree, having asked them to collaborate on a track for his long-awaited new album. The 12” and digital download will come with an acapella version of ‘Ritual Union’ and two remixes. One is a super smooth offering from on-the-rise German producer Tensnake and the other comes from house producer Maya Jane Cole, currently being streamed on iTunes here:

Since 2009’s critically acclaimed Machine Dreams they have not sat still, touring the globe and making some high profile friends along the way. Damon Albarn invited them to collaborate on two tracks for last year’s Gorillaz record Plastic Beach, which became album highlights for the critics with Pitchfork describing the songs ‘Empire Ants’ and ‘To Binge’ as “two of the most arresting things here; they’re airy, elusive and amazingly beautiful”. Similarly, David Sitek was so taken with singer Yukimi Nagano’s voice after touring with them in 2009, he asked her to lend some vocals to ‘If You Return’ from his solo project Maximum Balloon. And now Big Boi will be producing one of Little Dragon’s songs for his new album, after a certain Andre 3000 tipped him off. As if that wasn’t enough, they appear on Rafael Saadiq’s new album adding vocals to the sublime summer track ‘Just Don’t’.

Ritual Union the single will be release 25th July, with the remix EP to follow on the 15th August.

After having their past four releases picked up by Annie Mac's esteemed 'Hottest Records' accolade, the Bristol-based house duo Icarus are gearing up to release a new five-track EP which set to drop later this year via Pete Tong's FFRR imprint.

Ahead of the release, Icarus has shared the first lead single off their forthcoming EP - a slice of glistening and classic progressive instrumental house music that clearly illustrates why the duo is being heralded as one of the UK's most promising talents at the moment.

Speaking about their thought process behind constructing the new tune, Icarus had this to say: "We wanted to challenge ourselves to write an instrumental track that evokes feelings without the use of any lyrics. To us it represents a journey, with evolving landscapes and changing colours as the music progresses."
