Awakened by the dream again
Just to drift away

A half-remembered thought recurs
Rehearsing what I should have said
Another thought to fight the urge
I watch the tug of war in my head

You’re free to disappear any time
The self that sits behind your face
Cannot survive your inner gaze
Disappear

It’s a simple act
To search for the homunculus
Not a sneak attack
You’re not some sort of exorcist
Examining the rope you hold
To see that nothing is attached
And what felt under your control
Surrendered with a smile and a laugh

This was a bit of a departure in terms of instruments. I think the only physical hardware synth used in this was the Trigon-6 for some of the bass. Soft synths included Cherry Audio's PS-3300 (lead and arp), Omnisphere (synthy sweeps and pads), U-he Diva (bass), and PunchBox.
