Here's the set I played for the 2021 Virtual Edition of M+ Festival.

M+ is part of a circuit of events called Modular - REEF, based in Honduras, that connects the Central America electronic music scene with talents from Germany, Spain and US, to mention a few.

This edition brought artists like Sedef Adassi, Marc Puñol, Nadine Hennig and some good old friends of mine, Dan Freeman and Stefan Goldmann.

Thanks Balto Pinto for the invitation and all the people involved in this cool event!

Tropical Venus es una Dj mexicana radicada desde hace varios años en Costa Rica. 

Sus sets se caracterizan por tener sonidos melódicos con tintes hipnóticos. Desde sus inicios se ha visto influenciada de géneros como el melodic techno,indie dance y dark disco. 


Tropical Venus ha compartido escenarios con artistas de la talla de Bassel Darwish, Zack Walker,Valentin Huedo,Carol Seubert entre otros y ha tenido participaciones en clubes de la escena local como El Steinvorth y Avalon.

@bearhug_dj es un DJ que utiliza la música como medio de expresión personal. Sus sets son emocionales y desarrollan historias que van a variar de acuerdo al crowd, ambiente y momento.

Como artista, BearHug inicia a presentarse al público en el 2014. Los warm-ups son su especialidad, y de sus momentos favoritos para mezclar, pero no son su única carta. Con influencias y sonidos que van desde el Deep House hasta el Techno, con matices de Jazz, Trance, Acid, Early 90’s Prog, Chicago, Detroit, UKG, Electro y Synth Pop, este DJ tiene un sonido dinámico que se adapta a cualquier momento, pero siempre con ese sonido Deep y esas mezclas largas e hipnóticas que le caracterizan. Para este artista resulta natural tener un gusto muy amplio dentro del ámbito de la música electrónica.

BearHug ha formado parte de la escena eléctronica en Costa Rica por varios años, durante los cuales ha tenido la oportunidad de presentarse junto a DJs que admira muchísimo como Black Loops, Jimi Jules, Thabo, K.E.E.N.E, Leo Leal, Benoit & Sergio, entre otros. La música lo ha llevado en mezclar en la región centroamericana, como en Nicaragua con los hermanos de XL Music, y en El Salvador con los amigos de 707/OctaConcept. En 2019 tuvo la oportunidad de cumplir uno de sus sueños y conocer la escena de Berlin, en donde se presentó un par de veces en Birgit y compartió el DJ Booth con artistas como Click Click, Red Pig Flower, Douglas Greed, Beatamines y Bee Lincoln.

After 10 years learning classical and jazz piano Elisa Elisa fell in love with the French electronic music scene in her hometown Lyon. And the urge to absorb the Berlin vibes became unbearable!

In 2012, she landed in one of Berlin´s most legendary clubs, Watergate to write her master thesis about House Music. Since then she has been playing worldwide spreading her love and passion for music.

"For me, party and music are about the community, sharing and cherishing the moment." Coming herself from the dance floor, she sees those moments as powerful as meditation.

In 2020, she released her first EP Drum Love on Heat Up which madly reached number #1 on Beatport Deep House! The Franco-Algerian producer pays legacy to her North African roots infused with her protestant gospel ancestry.

As she says herself, "I am a mix"! And this is how she transcribed the fusion of her origins by creating her own identity through her music.

The amazing producer Homero Espinosa also asked her to remix a bomb track feat Bear Who?.

In 2021, Elisa Elisa made her debut on Cacao Records with an artist she has been admiring for years, Emmanuel Jal! Through the track „Amazigh“ meaning Berber, the producer reconnects with her ancestors, while fusing spirits in the present with the voice of Emmanuel Jal and her own.

Followed up with releases on Bambossa Records, Nite Grooves, Sous by the amazing Anja Schneider and He.She.They. And bomb remixes from Demuir and Enoo Napa!

Elisa Elisa played worldwide at clubs and festivals such as Panorama Bar, Club Chinois, Papaya Playa Project, Fusion, La Bellevilloise, Night Tales, Antik, Harry Klein, Armando Records, Feel, Woodstower…

Elisa Elisa got also published in the very first book dedicated to women in House Music: The Lady of the House!
