Well known waters 

If asked what it's like
To live this life 
Of 4 walls, I'll reply:
"It's all much a sameness now 
Like forever drifting on well known waters
Yet no land in sight"
There's acceptance of the now, yes
But loss is there, always
- The silent longing. 
I can lower my anchor 
With rations to see me through 
and onboard entertainment. 
I've extended comradeship to my grief
But I'm not one to lie 
- I yearn to reach harbour.

Worthy = 1 
I grew up believing worth could be calculated
Where being worthy = 1
And each time I deviated from the norm
Would be subtracted from the sum
And although it now seems ludicrous 
At the time it felt quite tenable 
That the only way to redeem my score
Was to be nothing less than exceptional
