The album is definitely a mixture of sounds from different decades. John Lennon, The Who, Blur, Oasis, Radiohead, Racounters are among the artists that influenced Elis on this project.
Both producing and recording process was done by a small and close team of friends : the artist in co-work with the producer with the help of the band musicians for particular recording instances. This was %100 percent digital and domestic recording, which process lasted almost two years: pre-production first year and recording and editing the second year.
The songwriting process started before pre-production and while finishing the her first album. After gathering round most of the songs for the list, some other were specifically composed to balance the atmosphere and "density" of the album. Despite that, every song has an aim and emerged from authentic need to express an overwhelming feeling, idea or experience, alongside the joy of reproducing and paying tribute to life-long musical love affairs.

Elis is the artist name for Eliana Fernández, a 21 year old Uruguayan female artist. Both painter and songwriter, she has independently released two albums to the date; "Insight" (2012) and "Ain't No Safety Ground" (2015).
She started playing music at the age of 13, taking part on amateur tribute cover bands as a bass player. As she started composing her first original songs at the age of 15 she began adding her songs into the live performances of one of those groups, which soon turned into her solo project.
She has been playing at local pubs and theaters since 2010 with such band formation. 
The artist music genre can be labeled as rock/pop, folk and indie music, characterized by a "expressionist and confessional" songwriting style. Her most relevant influences are both 60's and 90's brit-rock sounds.
