Originally from Pasto Colombia, Elizabeth and her passion for music started at the early age of 9 when her dad showed her how to play her first song. She soon joined a local community music group which lead her to form a side project that focused on Andean music. After a few years she realised her love for the bass guitar and continued to play gigs around town. She had the opportunity to play with some outstanding local artist including Danta Nativa (latin fusion rock), Bambarabanda (Andean sounds from Colombia), in 2008 she recorded her solo album Elicold which brought together her passion for Andean and rock music. She moved to Melbourne Australia at the end of 2008, in 2009 she studied music at NMIT and started working as a freelance musician in the Melbourne music scene, she has played bass in various salsa bands such as Santiago Son, Victor y Los Muñecos, Orulas Crew, Carlitos Way, Del Barrio, Bataola, Kekoson, La 45, among others. She has also played with The Electric I (conceptual rock), Joe Bataan for his Melbourne tour, The New Monos and African bands Alariiya and Lamine Sonko and the African Intelligence. A highlight in her musical career was to be invited to play with one of her favourite salsa bands El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico.
Elizabeth has founded working together with other fellow musicians many original music projects such as Elicold (2008) Songosorongo (2009) Clavemania Latin Jazz (2011), Ella Trinidad (2016), Calle Luna (2018), Queen of Hearts Mariachi (2019) The Sunseeds (2019), 
 
She is currently collaborating and composing with local Melbourne artists, and focused on releasing her original project: Eli Obando 2020
