The happy ending concludes with Hannah and Peninah making peace with one another as the Prophet Shmuel anoints the first King of Israel, Saul.

After facing yet another death of a child, Peninah confronts Hannah accusing her of causing the tragic ongoing curses, but Hannah assures her it was her own words that created the fate of her children.

Surviving soldier Saul escapes the Battle against the Philistines and rushes to tell Eli, the High Priest that the outcome was devastating, with his two sons among the slain.

Elkanah is torn between his loyalties towards Hannah and Peninah. He also predicts the oncoming battle ahead.

12 Track 12 Elkanah's Song

Hannah gives her son Shmuel to the High Priest Eli so that he may teach him to serve G-d. Instead of feeling sad and melancholic, she senses the euphoric divinity behind her just cause. 

10 Track 10 Euphoric

Peninah is slightly elated for her co-wife's successful pregnancy. 

09 Track 9 My Oh My

Hannah, instigated by Peninah's hurtful words, rushes to the altar to pray for a child. She makes a deal with G-d whereby when her baby would turn 2, she would send him to the temple to serve the Almighty. 

08 Track 8 If I Had a Little Child

Peninah tries to inspire Hannah to pray for a child. Unfortunately, her hurtful words set off a chain of tragic circumstances.

07 Track 7 Busy as a Bee

Elkanah and his crowd arrive at the Temple of Shiloh to make the annual sacrifices. Hannah is the only one who is too depressed to celebrate.

06 Track 6 Celebration I

The trumpets blare to introduce the oncoming pilgrimage to the Temple of Shiloh.

05 Track 5 Salvo

Peninah still resents the fact that Elkanah treats first wife Hannah with greater love and admiration, even if she has given him 10 children.
