'Moon Harbour makes a big signing for its next Release as former NBA player turned house aficionado Rony Seikaly steps up with Eskuche for 'Magic Nights,' and German mainstays Tube & Berger remix.
Seikaly has always had a passion for house music. But for many years, he was one of the first international born basketball players to make a mark on the NBA. The Lebanese American played for the likes of Orlando Magic and Miami Heat before retiring in 2000. Since then, he has established himself as a purveyor of quality house music on his own Stride label as well as Nervous Records and Yoshitoshi Recordings. Here he works with Eskuche, who is known for growling basslines and resonating drum patterns for the likes of Repopulate Mars and Elrow.

Their essential and mysterious 'Magic Nights' is deep but driving. The bass is elastic, and it booms down low while soft shakers and wet claps give the track height. Spooky whispered vocals make this one a tense, shadowy affair for the late-night hours and darkened dance floors. The remix comes from Tube & Berger, aka Arndt Roerig and Marko Vidovic, who for more than ten years have put out essential EPs, LPs and remixes on their own Kitball as well as on an array of other prestigious labels. Their version is dark and mysterious, with a warped vocal sample over the heavy, rolling bass locking you into a tight heads-down groove.

This is another fresh tune from the dream team pairing of Rony Seikaly and Eskuche.'

Navigating us through these topsy turvy times, Joris Voorn whisks us back to a 92 state of mind with this powerful update of a stone cold Dutch techno classic.

Originally produced by The Tellurians (AKA Robert Smit, Ferry Corsten, John Matze and Rene de Ruyter) the original 'Navigator' was a humungous hit across Europe and helped to define the exciting European sound that was emerging in house and techno at the time. Now, 29 years later, the Spectrum boss closes the loop with sincerity, clarity and some seriously heavy bass.

Lowering the tempo, fattening the groove, bringing that demonic one-word vocal to life and adding weaves and weaves of little production details, 'Navigator' has been modernised with subtlety and dark nocturnal soul. Already a key track in Joris' 'Global Underground 43' mix album last year, this marks a whole new lease of life for a track that's older than many of us DJs and ravers alike. Released as the entire scene enjoys a whole new lease of post lockdown life.

Elkins  has had music in his blood since childhood.  Beginning as a drummer and moving to a DJ, he always had one dream: to create and curate music. He made this happen soon enough – by the age of 12 he was hosting his own radio show, and by 14 was playing open-air shows at clubs around his home in Sardinia (Italy).

He continued to play clubs throughout Europe for years, then made his way to Ibiza. He gained clarity working alongside the best DJs and parties in the world and deepened his understanding of what made music – specifically, underground, melodic house – world-class.
Elkins' passion for music has led him to explore its other sides. For years he has personally hosted and managed some of the most recognizable events and talent in the industry.
