dreams ep. 20: changes

Time is a funny concept, don't you think? I think it's the most powerful illusion we witness. I feel like just a second ago everywhere around me there was endless sun, sand, sea, summer... And boom, in the blink of an eye everything turned into rain, wind and cold. Quite literally you blink once and autumn storms in and changes everything. That's what time does I suppose. Lures you in, makes you comfortable, and when the thought "hey, seems like this will never end" crosses your mind, surprise, surprise... better think again.  

Sometimes very distant memories seem like they happened yesterday and sometimes even if someone held a gun to your head you wouldn't be able to remember something that happened a couple of hours ago.

Quite often you feel like you have all the time in the world, fully sunken in the endless moment and when this moment passes and you visit it in the back of your head it feels no longer than a second. 

Time. It's a funny thing. And the funniest of all is that we are all born with the illusion that we have it in our hands. It's like you have control over it but its quite the opposite. You are simply a pawn in the grand scheme of plans. I do believe, however, that you have a very powerful weapon on our own that you can use to you advantage. That weapon is change. Yes, getting lost in the moment is perhaps the most magical feeling you would ever get to experience but what's the point in that if you live in the same moment for all of eternity. And I do believe the changes, whether you seek them or not, are sort checkpoints that help you navigate through this journey called life.

I got a bit lost in my own thoughts. Guess I myself got sucked into the moment while I am putting these words down, so apologies about that. I do hope it could come in handy to you at some point of your journey.

Episode 20, an anniversary episode so it has to be special to serve as a corner stone. Let's see what changes lie ahead.
