Written in the days after Ella’s sold-out support for British funk/soul legends Cymande, ‘Walk On’ was inspired by both the infectiously tight grooves and vibrant horn lines of 70's Soul. With Naarm's Frollen Music Library (Darvid Thor, Henry Jenkins, Hudson Whitlock) bringing their analogue soul touch to the production, ‘Walk On’ was born as a call to protect your integrity at all costs - as an artist, lover or friend - and be fearless in walking away from relationships that do not serve you.

The first single from Ella Haber’s forthcoming album through blood, like kin (Planet Trip Records), “don’t let it die” is a deep-pocket R&B groove, coloured by lush harmonies and Ella’s soaring, soulful vocal. Grappling with the pressure of an industry that prioritises streams over story, Ella crafted “don’t let it die” as a reminder to return to the reason we write music - to archive and soundtrack the human experience. This track cements Haber’s place as one of Australia’s finest songwriters.

Through her unique and majestic compositions, and years of experience on the stage Sydney-based songstress and multi-instrumentalist Ella Haber has built a powerful reputation as an authentic and impressive artist.
