I never had a high school sweetheart or a college love story, but when I finally met the person that made me fall, it was the deepest love I’ve ever known..

I think when it happens to you, you build up all these ideas in your mind about what it’s going to be like and how it’s going to change your life. I thought that we’re the lucky ones it works out for. I believed the fantasy despite everything I’d ever heard and seen that told me the opposite.

Love, hate, it’s funny how those are two words with the same amount of letters and syllable, that some days feel interchangeable to me. I guess my biggest take away from the whole experience was that it was different than I thought it would look like, the highs were so much higher than I could’ve imagined but the loss I would feel when it didn’t work out was something I was never prepared for. Maybe love is just a four letter word that sounds so good then leaves you with a cut so deep.

I’ve deeply appreciated all your support on my music and I guess I just wanted you to know me a little better in return. You've given me a platform and chance to be seen and I want to be honest with you, this is the part of myself I don't really like people to see, the hurt party, the one that feels confused and broken, the one still seeking answers that should feel obvious but don't.
