This song is about a woman whom I have watched from afar the whole of my life. She has been homeless in my hometown for the last 25 years. I watched her writing in her notebook as a young girl.

Ella is a singer-songwriter, performer, composer,vocal tutor. She has performed with various groups in recent years and as a solo artist. 

Her band, Ella Turk & The Rogue Tones, are a vibrant trio promising stunning, exploratory vocal and instrumental solos; Voice, Spanish guitar, tenor saxophone, double bass, performing latin, soul, jazz, nu-folk infused original material.

Ella was the vocalist in Pigshed; afro beat, latin, rare groove soul funk 8 piece Band, based in the South West. 
Ella has collaborated with various artists, such as Dr. David Prior, who released the album, Whose Most Lost, a partner in Liminal, and as a recording vocalist for the bands, The Ascension Plan and Ethatone.
