I just were vibing at my best friends birtday, started mixing 10 days ago so be humble with me, hehe. 
I know its far from perfect and I can hear my fuck-ups and have a long way of learning to go.

10 Days ago I started mixing (first set ever)

What is it that makes Fusion - the mother of festivals - so utterly perfect? Stages designed for dancers not DJs, sound engineered to hug you, political ideologies based on inclusivity and freedom? Or perhaps it's the antithesis of perfection - and rather the radical acceptance of the reality that this transient city of 80 000 people is unfinished, evolving and perfectly imperfect in every way. 

It was a dream come true to be invited by our dear friend @madmotormiquel to play at Bachstelzen, and to be surrounded by our friends and loved ones made the experience one we will never, ever forget.

Thank you to the dancers who lit up our Monday morning, and, of course, to the producers, without whom none of this would be possible.

I wanted to use this occasion to invite everyone that receives this, to join the CSD Party NEST pres. FROGSPAWN w/ FROG & BODYSHIFT that will be hosted from the 26th to the 28th of July and strongly urge everyone to delve into celebrating queernes together with a fresh, innovative lineup that platforms for artists that identify themselves as a part of the LGBTIA+ community. (which makes me so so so proud!)

Seit fast genau 2 Jahren 

Wie war dein Weg bisher?
Alles hat mit einem DJ workshop bei Femquency angefangen! Mit Workshopteilnehmenden habe ich das Kollektiv  Velvet Kitchen gegründet und seither ist sooo viel passiert! Ich durfte beim CSD auf dem Wagen vor tausenden Menschen spielen, auf meiner Lieblingsparty Gegen zweimal
im Kitkat auflegen sogar auf dem Whole Festival den Samstag auf der Arena Stage eröffnen. Stuttgart, Leipzig, Hamburg, Paris und baldig Köln und Lyon. Ich bin so unglaublich dankbar fuer diese Reise.  Meine Sets sind treibend, emotional und nur Tracks die ich Liebe. Ich schreibe meine Liebesgeschichte auf der Tanzfläche. Danke Femquency ihr habt mein Leben verändert!

My name is Ellen.
Born in a small town in Sweden.

I found my passion for mixing just a few years ago (in 2022). Something just clicked, and I guess my love for sounds and frequencies hit me hard. I honestly can’t explain how grateful I am for that. I’ve never felt more at home than with music as my companion.

Behind the mixer, time and space disappear. I get to play around with sounds, completely lose myself, and throw in whatever wicked stuff I think will make it interesting and fun.
I want to create soundscapes (ambient is my best friend), so I work a lot with rhythms and minimal textures to build grooves. I’m constantly on the lookout for new sounds that keep me inspired. Basically, I collect sounds and use them like pencils. You could almost say this is my “color diary book.”

My BPM range is anything from very (very) slow to 140+.

Here you can find anything I remember to record, I’m happy to upload if I had fun doing it 🖤✌️
