This DJ and aspiring producer from the small rural town of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania has been mixing for 3 years. He actually has a somewhat sad story as to why he started learning how to mix so prepare yourself for this. Back in 2022 his grandfather unfortunately passed away from heart failure. He described this as a time of his life where he felt lost and broken because he meant the world to him. A few days after this happened he decided to start DJing as a way to distract himself from these difficult times. Fortunately, it worked! He said this was one of the most difficult times of his life where he felt like his back was against the wall and DJing was a huge help during the grieving process. Now he uses DJing as a way to show love to other people and to also have fun and be who they are during his sets. Seeing people headbang and going ballistic is something he looks forward to and says is one of the coolest parts of DJing. 

Since starting out in VR he's played at Lyoko After Dark, Phanosity, Sanctum Chapel, Contain, Reflect, and many other venues and events. His favorite genres to play out are Dubstep, Riddim, and Drum and Bass, but he also sometimes plays house and techno. 

Today's set is inspired by artists like Subtronics and Crankdat, and also his friend Xio who he said deserves a shoutout and the world. One of his favorite songs on today's set is Power Alliance by Barely Alive and Kompany.

Outside of DJing he enjoys seeing his girlfriend, hanging out with family and friends, paintballing, long walks and drives, and hanging out with his cat Snoopy. He's also a certified forklift driver and his favorite non-edm song is No Names by NF. 

Finally, he has biggie cheese things coming with Stevie Boi Wonderfiz so be on the lookout for that in the future.

Each track carries intense emotion—rage, introspection, and raw energy. A sincere, dark, and powerful blend, driven by the need to create without compromise.

Nightbird & 8Er$ - Now I Am Become Death

I'm excited to share one of my favorite tracks I've produced this year.

The creative process began with a piano composition, which I developed through improvisation on my MIDI keyboard. This initial melody took some time to shape, but it laid a strong foundation for the rest of the piece. I then layered in ambient elements, including pads and synths, all washed in reverb to create a spacious and atmospheric sound.

Building on that, I improvised a second melody using a pluck sound that complements the piano beautifully. Once the melodic elements were in place, I added the rhythm section—drums and bass—to give the track its groove and momentum. With all the core elements complete, I arranged everything into a full song structure.

To bring the track to life, I wrote and recorded the vocals myself using a Shure SM7B microphone and an Apollo Twin X interface.
