I work fast and I am quite impulsive, so when a record label asked me if I'd be up for doing a remix of the new Chaka Khan record I cut it together straight away,  finished the next day and had it played at kappa future festival before they sent the return email saying they weren't actually going to do any remixes - funny how life works.

Chaka Khan - Like Sugar (Elliot Adamson Remix)

"BLACK DACHSHUND" is a metaphor relating to the metaphor of the black dog that is used to refer to depression. I made this in the middle of a wisdom tooth infection when I couldn't open my jaw properly. The word sounds kind of french due to the vocal infliction that came out of my health problems at the time, and is intended to reduce depression by changing it into something that is to be ridiculed.
