Die Braut nace en Diciembre del año 2006, de la mano de su mentor Cristián Soto Vanelli, el cual involucra también a la que será la vocalista y autora de todas las canciones, Katia Figueroa Letelier. En un comienzo debía ser un proyecto solista, por la experiencia de Cristián en la programación de sintetizadores, pero con el tiempo Katia se suma a esta propuesta musical.

Die Braut cultiva el género musical Dark-Electro con secuencias y bases sólidas y muy marcadas, que se entremezclan con oscuras melodías, pad evolutivos y samples atmosféricos dando cabida a un sonido original y compacto en todo su espectro, destacando además la faceta trilingue de la banda que escribe sus letras en Alemán, Ingles y Español, teniendo con ello mas posibilidades de llegar al público internacional.
Las líricas, fuertes y directas, delatan anomalías de la sociedad Chilena, tales como la discriminación, el Machismo, la pobreza, la mentira, la violencia en contra de los niños y mujeres y la falta de autenticidad de nuestra sociedad.
Es por esta razón que DIE BRAUT ha adoptado como estilo de vida el lema FREIHEIT, GERECHTIGKEIT, FREUNDSCHAFT! (Libertad, Justicia y Amistad) y que los identifica alrededor del mundo, llevando y transmitiendo consigo este mensaje a todos.
El 25 de Julio del año 2008, DIE BRAUT lanza su primer disco llamado UNSEHBAR (Invisible), el cual es editado por el sello DANSEMACABRE RECORDS y distribuido por los sellos BIOHAZZARD RECORDS y COP International en toda Europa y America del Norte.
