Nostalgic Cassette

Frankfurt-based artist PARAFRAME presents his new single Heartbeat on Purified Records. Anchored by a rich, resonant bassline, the track blends a nostalgic, trance-inspired synth melody with ethereal nu-pop vocals that add a sense of longing and intimacy. A sweeping string motif weaves through the arrangement, lending cinematic depth and elevating the track beyond the dancefloor into an immersive sonic landscape. With Heartbeat, PARAFRAME captures the spirit of 2010s dance music while giving it a modern, immersive twist, creating a track that feels both familiar and strikingly contemporary.

Captured by Kelsey Williamson, the ‘Heartbeat’ artwork shows a silhouette of a freediver merging with thousands of sardines off the coast of Moalboal; a haven for underwater enthusiasts and underwater photographers. Kelsey is an adventurer and photographer passionate about exploring the world’s most remote and stunning regions. Her work captures untamed landscapes and underwater wonders, inspiring a deeper connection to the wild and a curiosity for the unknown.

The same waters that draw divers and photographers also sustain millions of people, underscoring the importance of groups like Marine Conservation Philippines. MCP partners with local communities to restore reefs, strengthen marine protected areas, and monitor coastal health. By combining science, education and local engagement, the organization helps secure both biodiversity and livelihoods in one of the world’s most marine-rich regions.
