This song is one of the most personal pieces on From the Soul. I wrote it while reflecting on how time doesn’t always feel like a healer. Sometimes it feels like a weight, a reminder of everything we’ve lived through and everything we’ve lost.

The lyrics come from a place of honesty. I’ve made mistakes, earned scars, and learned lessons the hard way. This track is about accepting that journey, even when it hurts. It’s about facing the mirror and owning the years, the regrets, and the hope that something meaningful waits at the end.

Musically, it’s stripped down and raw. Just a simple guitar, and the truth. If you’ve ever felt the drag of long nights or the ache of time slipping by, this song is for you.

This song is about loss and sadness that we all can relate to. Loss is part of life and sometimes we never fully recover. We may move on and keep moving forward, but when the day is quiet and we are alone with our thoughts, deep inside we still feel the loss and pain. However, there is some comfort in knowing that we are all in this together and that we have all experienced this pain.

Live Your Life is a song I wrote as a reminder to let go of regret and embrace the present. It’s about trusting the path, even when it’s messy, and believing that every twist and turn has its purpose. I’ve made mistakes, lost things I thought I’d never recover from, but I’ve also learned that life keeps moving, and so should we.

Musically, it’s simple and warm, built to let the message breathe. The lyrics reflect a kind of quiet wisdom that only comes from living through the hard stuff. I didn’t write this to preach. I wrote it to remind myself that every moment is a chance to begin again.

I wrote this song after going through a very low point in my life. But love somehow found it's way back to me and pulled me out of the dark. I believe that if you just hold on a little longer even in the deepest valley, that things will turn around and you will come out stronger than you could imagine.

Recorded about 15 years ago, I found this in my files. I laid down a rhythm and recorded the lead in a single take just expressing what I was feeling that day. Mistakes and all, no do overs just like life.

It's Never Too Late

Sometimes we are overwhelmed by all of the directions that people are pulling us. Everyone tries to tell us how to live our life, how we should feel, and what we should do. I wrote this song after my mother passed. People feel the need to reach out and talk, when in truth, I just wanted to be left alone. It's a little darker than my other songs so I felt a fusion of metal and classical captures the depth of emotion better.
