"Some Kind Of Melody" track was supposed to be a vocal mix in the beginning.
Daniel and I were searching for the right vocal version, and I sent to him this version. Somehow this vocal version inspired Daniel to create "Face It" track and inspired me to make "The Louder Silence" track 😄 Ironically we both mutually agreed that the track sounded better without any vocal, the vox was removed from "SKOM" track. So this is the story of how "SKOM" (Original Mix) track became a dub mix.

What do you think? Should we have released "Some Kind Of Melody" (Vocal Mix) or the released dub mix is better?

P.S. Finally I've got access to one of my HHDs, which I used for my projects.
There were always several different version of the same project, as making music is a creative process, inspiration gives plenty of ideas and one idea leads to another.

Anticipating your possible mocking at me about the lines:
"Maybe someday I will understand,
All I can do now is to pretend.", –
– I'm explaining: No, the track isn't about a mentally retarded. Not the whole lyrics were used, only its 1st part. The lyrics are about the emotional disappointment, when one still loves and the other feels nothing.
My vox sounds differently in this track, not as my usual voice, because then I needed to sing [what I do seldom, as you must have noticed, mostly I recite my rhymed motifs] for a project and [besides] to sing the [my] deepest / lowest notes. It’s my lowest singing range. And it was disappointing to find out the lowest notes for my vocal range, [because in "my head" the voice sounded much deeper] even though my voice was hoarse after about 3 hours of singing for recording [I got a sore throat for a week after that singing].

Мой голос звучит иначе в этом треке, потому что нужно было петь [что делаю редко, как, должно быть, заметили, в основном читаю свои стихотворные мотивы] для проекта, и [к тому же ещё] петь низким голосом. И это самый низкий диапозон моего пения. После которого, кстати, неделю болело горло, и была разочарована, что часов 3 пела для записи, но даже с осипшим голосом это был мой самый низкий диапозон [а "в голове" при пении голос звучал гораздо ниже].
