Following on from 80’s inspired anthem ‘Who’s Got the Time’, Musumeci delivers with a fun-fuelled Indie Dance four-tracker, ‘Discomagico’ on Future Disco.

Kickstarting the EP in style, in collobarotation with Qubica, ‘The Chameleon’ is a bubbling Italo track with a galloping bassline, retro pads, and a euphoric, trancey breakdown. Big, dance-inducing baselines run throughout ‘Discomagico’, and this is no exception with ‘Figli Delle Stelle’, featuring Phunkadelica, which boasts epic synth lines, fizzing pads, and Musumeci’s signature retro-meets-modern Disco sound. 

Musmeci joins forces with Alican and vocalist, Nick Mauer for ‘Who’s Got The Time’,  with the grooviest bassline, bright synths, and colourful tones that ignite the track throughout. Nick Mauer’s vocals are the element that takes the track to new levels with a commanding flow, and playful lyrics. ‘Who’s Got The Time’ is a fun-fuelled nu-disco banger. Closing out the EP is ’Not Tonight’, another euphoric Nu-Disco anthem that feels like the perfect set-closer.

Kicking off the Musumeci project in the late 80s, Mauro Di Martino has produced and remixed on the likes of Bedrock, Diynamic Music, and Innervisions. His new release, ‘Who’s Got the Time’ is the first single for his forthcoming EP, ‘Discomagico’ on Future Disco.

This is exactly what we have here, a start over. Former member of the Brazilian duo TouchTalk, with releases on LoveDogs, Sincopat, Flower Power, and Voltaire Music, just to name a few, Zim has decided to follow another path, artistically speaking, and dedicate himself to new soundscapes when it comes to producing and performing solo now under the moniker ID ID.

His debut EP is also the very first release on the brand-new “Brasuca” label Print ID. His adequately named “Born in Chaos” brings two well-constructed originals and establish what will be the mood intended for his super fresh project.

The track we chose to premiere amasses all the imperative elements for a strictly dance-floor-oriented theme: Stamina, clout, attitude, and steam, triggered by a fat bassline, nervous synth layers, and an instructive "follow-the-leader" vocal hook.

Cornelius Doctor's (@corneliusdoctor) remix of 'Whispering' strips back the guitars and staccato synth lines, opting instead for softer oriental style pads and drones, textures and percussion for a slowed yet bouncy and vibrant remix. His style sits at the convergence of cosmic, discoid and wavy sounds, with percussion, dark synths, psyche voices, breaks and bells as some of his best weapons. Since starting his Hard Fist label in 2016, Cornelius Doctor has been an advocate for an uninhibited and expressive approach to dance music, opening club music to world sounds and bringing back the essence of dancing together ritually.

1-. What type of instruments or synths you use for your productions?
I have a DeepMind 12, but I mainly use Diva, and Ableton synths: I really like Wavetable and many of the Experimental line. 

2-. Any plans for the near future we should know about?
 I will have a release on the Mexican label Innuendo with an original mix and a collaboration with Maicol MP. I'm finishing a special album for the Berlin based Eastern Standard, and I have 3 vocal collaborations in three different productions they will probably be released during the year. 

3-. Favourite producers right now
 There are so many producers that I love and admire that it would be too difficult to pick a few favorites. I can say that I had my first impact with electronic music with Daft Punk's Homework album. It was my first love that I will never forget. 

4-. A random story from the dancefloor
 At the last event I wore a colorful long-sleeved bodysuit with a psychedelic pattern, and many people came to pinch my arms to see if it was full body tattoo. It was funny.

After her first single "Fever" and vocal featuring in "Metamorpho", the Italy-based Hungarian vocalist and producer Gianet debuts on the Mexican label BUFOS run by Colossio and Gàme. The "Devious Fragments" EP Includes 3 original tracks and 2 special remixes of Aera and Last Men On Earth. To celebrate the event she recorded this special set.
