Buenos Aires-based collective Amancay is back for an encore of its annual compilation ‘Ficciones II”, a wide-ranging selection of contemporary electronic music produced and mixed by 14 different artists. 
This avant-garde assortment of genre-defying music reaffirms the existence of a new generation of Argentine electronic music-makers.
El Gingo, by Marvio, is a forceful artistic expression, composed of a dynamic bass line, violent percussions, and powerful melodies. 
It's 6 minutes of an intense composition and an explicit manifesto to push the energy of the dance floor to the limits.

Joyce Muniz & Theus Mago’s feisty ‘Balin Bali’ Italo collaboration is a hot enough snack on its own, but with these two excellent new remixes it just got even tastier.

French producer and Jennifer Cardini collaborator Damon Jee steps up with an alternate Italo take on the original. The track builds slowly and with a moody edge as synths soar and snares hit hard over a chugging arpeggiated bassline, climaxing a dizzying breakdown which really gets the synapses firing. Slamming us back down into a sparse arrangement where that bassline rules all, the euphoria is snatched away from us suddenly in dramatic and very effective fashion.

Next up, Marvin & Guy up the tempo to a pacey house bounce and lay on some gentle electro textures. Shimmering stabs fizz atop a galloping beat as relentless bass waves undulate propulsively. The synths unfurl further in the breakdown before the time-stretched vocal announces the drop, where a heady crescendo awaits us. Synth flutes add a mystical edge next as the track steps back into a more hypnotic groove.

Polaris is excited to announce the debut of Berny and MMYYLO on the label. The French/Italo tandem created an EP that showcases a wide variety of tones and influences, highlighting their unique styles and musical approaches. 

The EP kicks off with 'North Pole', a driving track that takes listeners on a psychedelic journey with nordic vocals blending with dirty synths, a perfectly crafted track that you'll be eager to listen to. 

We continue our journey with 'South Pole', a cyclical track whose rolling bass and percussive drums are utterly infectious. Its darkness will immerse listeners in a soundscape worthy of most underground clubs. An excellent release, perfectly executed, demonstrating the talent of both producers.

After releasing their debut collaboration with ‘Trust The Process’ and ‘Out Of Control’, which both have been smashing the dancefloors worldwide over the second half of the year. Bonnie Spacey and Franz Matthews strike again on HIFI/LOFI by releasing the second part of their ‘Trust, Process, Control’ EP with 2 stunning remixes of masters Daddy Squad and Phunkadelica, which ought to make Giorgio Moroder wonder if his famed arpeggiated synths haven’t made kids behind his back.

Italian superheroes of intergalactic grooves, aka Phunkadelica summon the dark powers of lord arpeggiator with a dizzying synth line run that gets heavier, and heavier, and heavier...until things get ‘Out Of Control’, and you could almost feel like the club has become a heavy metal venue where blood is coming out from the fire sprinklers (if you haven’t got the ref, type « Blade Vampire Club Scene » on YouTube, but, please, do yourself a favour, don’t watch the rest of the movie).

Who said ‘Italo only has one flavour’ ? Nobody actually. But what we know, is that these 2 revisions are brilliantly reinterpreting the 2 originals in their very own way, and we can’t to see you to enjoy them on the dancefloor, at home, on a cosmic spaceship, or played by the opening DJ at Metallica’s next show, who knows!
