O EP Fundamentals é fruto da amizade entre Bigfett e seus parceiros de produção. O artista faz a mesclagem da sua sonoridade de Melodic Techno com Progressive House dos artistas DEE:VISION e Malion.
A faixa Odyssey foi inspirada nos progressive house antigos, porém com uma pegada mais forte do Melodic Techno. O nome da faixa faz analogia ao sintetizador "ARP Odyssey".
A faixa Fundamentals tem uma pegada mais pista e com bateria mais marcada. A música leva este nome, pois os artistas acreditam que toda amizade verdadeira é necessário uma base forte.
A faixa Against My Fears tem uma vibe mais melancólica. Ela é retrato de uma fase mais difícil da vida pessoal e artística do produtor Bigfett.

With a career spanning over three decades, Scottish-born and Zurich-based McLoud has been a pivotal figure in the electronic music scene since the late '80s. His journey began with jazz-influenced hip-hop and evolved through breakbeat and trance, leading to a distinctive progressive house sound that has graced renowned labels such as JOOF Aura, The Soundgarden, and Mango Alley.
