Focus on : Field Recording

The Field recordings are recorded by using a DIY adapter for linking a pair of the AKG C414 XLS to a Sony D100 recorder and almost only the RAW sound files will be uploaded. No special editing will be applied.

My compositional style is rather eclectic, ranging from traditional folk music to neoclassical to deterministic, and several things in between.  I use a variety of free software for creating electronic music, including SunVox, ChucK, IanniX, and Audacity.  I am always interested in learning new techniques and trying different styles.  I studied music composition with Stanley Hollingsworth, and Early Music (including lute) with Lyle Nordstrom.  I regularly perform on various acoustic instruments, including keyboards, bass and acoustic guitars, recorder, and penny whistle - though my first love is piano.

Elm Records is an independent record label specialising in ambient and experimental music.
