My intention was to create something I would use a a film music.
This Song is partly electronic / ambient, partly drums / git / bass. Plus I added some orchestral instruments (thanks to vienna sinfonic library).

Dark

As the title  says: This song starts in a kind of dark mood and turns into light and happiness. With its 81 BPM it has some kind of slow funk soul hiphop groove, with simple but powerful (Waldorf Largo) bass, old school rhythm guitar and a very simple melody.

Into The Light

While writing I thought about an angel, not in a religious way, but like a creature coming to support you when you are in a dark mood. I wanted to create a song representing this, with a relaxing mood and a very slow melody, church bells and choir pads, but also some funky guitar and a classic synth bass.

Sweden

We sometimes hear that we know more about the stars above us than about the deep oceans and the creatures living there. For me whales are especially inspiring animals. 
I did some orchestral and electronica melange which tries to tell the story of a whale, who remembers his life through happiness and pain.

The Whale

Usually I do not do classical music in contemporary style. But while playing this song on the piano, I had the idea of messing around with Beethoven's Sonata 14 (which he never called Moonlight Sonata, but that's another story). As I came from Beethoven's birth town, and he is the most famous son of my hometown I admit I have a special relationship. So take this a a fan thing. Hope you like it.

Moonlight

Sundays are sometimes days to reflect, and hopefully peaceful days. If I would be a lyricist I would write in words about this special feeling of calmness but thinkful mood, which hopefully leads to some good thoughts. This is what this song is about.
