I wrote this one two and a half years ago on a friends porch while my girl and I were living on a couch together, facing a rough world with contradictory beautiful view of False Creek.

Stranger in the Strand (So Bouquet)

This song was recorded at Thorwind in the Arrow Lakes Region of the Kootenays in a town call Nakusp.  It is entirely outside of anything I have ever attempted in terms of style and sound, as well as being the first piece of music I have ever written, arranged, recorded, mixed and mastered sans aide.  For this recording I chose to use an heirloom banjo that belonged to my Father's Mother's family, and a harmonica that came to me from my Mother's Father.  I can play neither instrument very well, but wanted to honor my paternal and maternal ancestry with this song for an age...
