Wanna Fly started as a track only with bass and drums. Then I put down some chords on the guitar and started writing. It has been a long process that has been going on for about a year. The song is about the fact that love can be difficult to understand and that circumstances can sometimes complicate it. This is a song that I know many will be able to relate to and the mix between the cool bass line, the groove and the tasty vocals makes it unique!

The song is a mix between groove and something beautiful. My goal was to keep much of the honesty in the sounds, and at the same time make the instrumental fit in with the whale sampels.

Skrev låten våren 2021 med bara sång och gitarr. Texten blev klar på en kväll minns jag. Sen började jag med produktionen/arrangemanget snabbt därefter. Sedan fick den vila ett tag och I vintras insåg jag att jag ville göra prodden poppigare, så fick gör ett nytt projekt och nu är jag riktigt nöjd (om man någonsin kan bli det). Har skrivit, producerat, mixat och mastrat låten helt själv och det är första gången jag gör alla delarna på egen hand. Låten handlar om hur en person kan få en att bättra sig, kolla framåt och se ljuset i livet igen. Det är även min första låt på svenska vilket jag tycker känns spännande och kul!

This is the first time I mix and master a song all by myself so that's special. I aslo think this song is unique and can't be compared with any other artist. I really got my own sound on this one and im happy to share it with the world!

Elmer writes and produces mainly Pop with influences from jazz, soul and blues. The productions are often very guitar-based as it is Elmer's main instrument, but according to him he can play most instruments, you hear a bit of everything in his music. The lyrics usually tend to be about love both happy and unhappy.

What distinguishes Elmer's songs is the guitar sound and groove mixed with a lot of emotion in the song and a modern production. Elmer's goal with music is to enter the industry and be able to make a living only as an artist and songwriter.

Elmer was born on January 17, 1999, he currently lives in Umeå, Sweden and works mostly in his home studio.
