there was a time when Minecraft on creative mode was literally the most sacred place to be and “The Untold Saga” immediately transfers me to that profound memory.

i’m writing this note listening to “Saga” on my Apple Computer and the feeling of overwhelming, excitement is just so explicit.
with digital, almost angelic, Miyazaki Philharmonia Apu is inviting us into their layered, silky smooth, yet crunchy and granular world where everything is changing with each gesture. pure, flowing orchestra is so vibrant i can almost touch it. immersive sound design can be so bright i can almost see it.

i’m addicted to fidget toys and this EP happened to kinda be another one of mine. it’s Ghibli-like, full-of-surprises narrative without compromises refers to bubblegum club music, as well as enters into deeply personal soundtrack areas.

oh and btw can you imagine it's a debut EP?

Three Corners - LA MAS MALA

Le projet qu’on m’a commandé pour les Festes Baroques, consistait à créer une composition qui établisse un dialogue entre musique baroque et production sonore contemporaine. Cette pièce m’a demandé environ 150 heures de travail et d’écoute. 

Dans cette création, j’ai cherché à rejouer certaines structures tonales propres au baroque, tout en les faisant évoluer vers une forme de composition modale. Ce qui m’intéresse profondément dans la musique, c’est la narration, et ce dialogue entre les époques et les langages musicaux, m’a tout de suite attiré. Pour détourner certains accords baroques classiques, j’ai choisi d’utiliser des modes pan-méditerranéens et des micro-intervalles ou micro-tons. À l’inverse, certaines parties conservent des mélodies d’inspiration classique, mais interprétées par des instruments non occidentaux, comme le oud. Je me suis aussi interrogé sur la question de la narration rythmique, car le rythme tel qu’on l’entend aujourd’hui est assez absent de la musique baroque. Cela m’a amené à travailler autour de la répétition, de la densité sonore, et à interroger la façon dont on perçoit le temps dans une pièce. 

Cette pièce a donc été un long mais passionnant périple.

The piece is an instrumental electronic track with a driving rhythm. It features a prominent synth bass line providing a consistent pulse and harmonic foundation. A synth lead carries the main melody, characterized by its bright, slightly distorted timbre. Percussion consists of electronic drums, including a kick, snare, and hi-hat, creating a steady, uptempo beat. The arrangement builds in intensity with the introduction of additional synth layers and rhythmic variations. The tempo is fast, contributing to the energetic feel. The overall production is clean with a focus on clear synth textures and a strong rhythmic presence., epic song, latin
