Following several well-received self-releases, including her re-interpretation of the 1992 hit ‘No Scrubs’ by TLC that was championed by Jamie Jones among several others, London-based DJ/Producer starlet ELODIE has unveiled the first offering on her newfound ‘eloelo’ imprint.

‘Slept With X’ is a firm introduction to ELODIE’s gritty subterranean sound. Undulating grooves, roughened sonics and moody melodies run rife throughout the mix, accented by subtle percussive playfulness and swirling atmospheric tones. It’s eerie, it’s granular, it’s raw, and it’s the perfect example of the unique take on production that has set ELODIE apart from the sea of talent rising out of the capital’s renowned club scene.

Following a run of successful digital releases, eloelo records presents its debut vinyl release, a multifaceted 4-track EP, featuring three original tracks by label head ELODIE and a remix from coveted producer Michael James.

The A side is headed by the title track, ‘Bohemian’. Consistently well-received, especially by those lucky enough to have heard it on a heavy-duty sound system, the track creates an immersive, euphoric atmosphere that oozes warmth and vibrant energy. Coupled with one-off hits and delightful ear candy meticulously sprinkled throughout, ‘Bohemian’ offers a feast for the senses making it impossible not to move to. Your ears and your feet won’t be able to get enough.

Michael James' remix of ‘Bohemian’ transforms it into a peak-time anthem that ignites the dancefloor. His rendition adds a layer of intensity and excitement, characterised by his trademark percs and a thrilling breakdown that leads to an explosive drop, leaving revelers ecstatic every time it is unleashed. A proper ‘bomb’.

The B side takes a more emotive turn with two more original tracks from ELODIE.

‘Like To Dream’, envelops listeners in a dreamy, sense of deep introspection via complex soundscapes which have been expertly woven to create a mesmerising depth of sound. Its seamless blend of pads and synths create a profound journey, inviting listeners to lose themselves in this moving, mature track inspired by the Rominimal sound.

‘Pineapple Ice’ rounds off the EP with a mood that is both tranquil and experimental. The track’s minimalistic yet intricate composition offers a soothing yet intriguing auditory experience, balancing calmness with a touch of playful unpredictability. A dubby techno number which perfectly balances out the EP.

Following a string of acclaimed releases from label head ELODIE, eloelo records proudly presents its first EP of original music from guest artists. The 4-track record comes courtesy of Italian producers Nicola Brusegan & Steve Hammer, two names synonymous with groove-laden minimal house, each bringing their signature flair to the label.

The A side opens with ‘Space X’, a dark, dancefloor-focused cut driven by rolling basslines, intricate percussion, and an irresistible swing. Its subtle layers and hypnotic progression make it both a powerful DJ weapon and a track that rewards deeper listening. With crisp textures and immersive drive, it’s perfectly poised for peak-time moments while retaining a refined, minimal character.

Next up is ‘Suker’, a track that brings warmth and groove to the forefront. Laced with soulful vocal elements and undertones, it balances functionality with emotion – the kind of track that effortlessly connects with the crowd and elevates the dancefloor.

On the B side, label head ELODIE delivers a remix of ‘Suker’, reshaping the original into a groovy, stripped-back version full of bounce. With its funky bassline and carefully placed percussive details, the remix captures ELODIE’s trademark sound – playful, minimal, and impossible not to dance to.

Closing the EP, ‘FAT’ rounds things off with an adventurous twist. Its stripped-back yet unpredictable arrangement highlights the duo’s deep understanding of dynamics, offering a track that can shift the mood of a room and spark new directions in a DJ set.

With this release, eloelo expands its scope beyond ELODIE’s own productions, signalling the label’s evolution into a platform for kindred artists who share its vision of groove-led, timeless minimal sounds. Nicola Brusegan & Steve Hammer’s contribution sets the bar high, adding a new dimension to the catalogue while staying true to the ethos at the heart of eloelo.
