Elon Skum is back with a brand new EP that is sure to delight fans of electronic weird stuff like you.
Titled « Getting Started, » this four-track release showcases a blend of atmospheric sound design, driving beats, and hypnotic rhythms.

The EP kicks off with the title track, « Onboarding / Fires, » which features a pulsing bassline and shimmering synths leads you into the absurd and dark world of Elon.
Next up is "Stress response," which has a more introspective feel with its ethereal pads.
"Desperation move," is a not a peak-time banger that won’t get the dancefloor moving with its pounding kick drums but you can try.
Finally, the EP closes out with a remix of the Armenian based artist Dave N.A of the track « Fires» .

Yu Yu is a tiny box room in CDMX. Since its opening in 2017, it’s been the home of electronic music in Mexico, welcoming everyone from Darwin to dBridge. In addition to the club, there’s also Yu Yu Record Store, a cosy vinyl stockist that champions the same flavours as its adjoining venue.

For anyone who's caught a Tony Neptune set, either online or offline, you'll know the Leeds DJ, producer and Dimensions DJ Directory member doesn't do things in half measures. 

As both Tony and his other alias Yuri - a tip of the hat to Yuri Gagarin, the first human to journey into outer space - he's no stranger to 6-hour long mixes, sometimes immortalised in his lengthy back-to-backs with fellow Leeds DJ Mark 'Turbo' Turner. 

Last month he shared his first productions with the world; a debut EP titled Reflections on a Daring Escape that moves through emotive electro and further serves as a vehicle for Neptune to tell a story for the senses, by combining his own visual paintings with the music. 

In typical fashion for his Shine A Light On mix he delivers a live recording from his three hour set at Gut Level, a party in Sheffield, just before lockdown commenced. A journey through everything from oddball wave to slow industrial, EBM, new wave and electro, the mix picks up the pace continuing to build until its climax...

Tony Neptune: The 'Shine A Light On' Mix

Munich-based Kareem El Morr explores club-oriented techno and UK inspired breakbeats in his work. He first caught our attention back in 2018, when his track Eros 404 was included in an Ilian Tape compilation. With a new breakbeaty EP ready to be released on Jonas Yamer's Molten Moods label and another techno-oriented body of work in the pipeline with RFR Records, we thought there would be no better time to invite Kareem to our mix series. 

During the current pause in clubbing culture, Kareem has sought to use this time to experiment further with the concept of sound and hard-hitting techno. Compensating for time lost in the club, he delights with  mix spanning from ambient to breakbeat, through techno and fast bass.
