I wrote this track on Reason after finishing Uni over the summer of 2002 -  I struggled to get the compression/EQing right so it's a bit rough in places. 

No samples apart from the (uncleared!) Marlena Shaw vocal from "Woman Of The Ghetto" and a couple of percussion loops.

While Sam and I were figuring out Malaguena, We ended up with a bunch of just little "chunks" of things we jammed on. We decided to stick them end-to-end and figure a way to transition from one chunk to another and ended up with another 12 minute duet we called "The Call Home"
I'm playing the 12 string and Sam plays the 6-string. As usual, he does his part flawlessly :)

A change of pace for me. A mate (who features here delivering the jellyfish rhyme) has been busting my balls for ages to make some hip hop, so this was the result. Heavily inspired by Dilla, it's all original apart from a couple of cheeky uncleared samples. Five pounds and a Curly Wurly to anyone who can spot their sources...
