this set was a dream come true, i used to go to every pilantragi party, every week, and had a blast everytime i was there, some important stuff in my life happened before, after or during one of these days, and it's been a really long time i have wanted to play there one of my brazilian music set for them. too bad it was only an hour long set, cuz i could just go on forever <3 hope you enjoy as much as i did =)

I recorded this mix during a difficult and kinda hopeless moment in Brazil when the only thing holding us artists in focus is the potency of brazilian culture and music. This mixed feeling is printed in this mix. It starts really dreamy with Pedro Sorongo´s classic "Desengano da Vista" tunes and slowly grows into a heavier perspective of brazilian rythms, like a glimpse of the distopic Brazil 2020 we live in. Salvador Araguaya é o projeto do paulista Francisco Loureiro que mescla batidas eletrônicas com a musicalidade regional e universal brasileira. Filho do coletivo Sonido Trópico, onde foi DJ residente por 4 anos, Araguaya excursionou a Europa e o Oriente Médio com a família Sonido em 2016 e 2017. since i'm not much of a desert person, this would probably be your only chance to see me connected to the burning man in some fashion. my alias is perrengue, but i have my limits. ANYWAYS i was really grateful to be invited together with @quackcoletivo to take part at IRUPÉ, one of the "stages" part of the MysticVerse, an immersive 3D experience on the virtual Black Rock City, part of the Burning Man 2020. this stage collected over 10 collectives from Brazil and Quack was responsible for the last night of the festival, and I was honored to be opening this special day with this slowly cooked downbeat psychedellic set, livestreaming from a friend's backyard on a delightful Sunday afternoon <3  it was great to be back to the 90bpm range, it's been a long time I don't play like that and really liked it. thanks for the crew at Quack (I love you all so much) and for the producers of IRUPÉ for the invitation, it was a blast and I didn't even need to eat dust for a week!  hope you all enjoy this set, lot's of love involved in this <3

Em uma narrativa abrasileirada, o trabalho é homenagem a Glorinha, mãe de Pedrada e ao mesmo tempo ilustra a realidade de muitas mães do nosso Brasil. O single carrega um apelo humano com ritmos de origem marginal que vem de encontro com o sofisticado Organic House e Downtempo.
