Taking a Moment (Flip the Coin)

Decided to round up some friends and jam out a bit at my apartment in Guadalajara. Neighbors got real pissed so it was a 1-time thing. :)

Farm City Jam Session

Remix A is a more EDM inspired track, with a pretty thick drum beat throughout and some fun little percussion sprinkled around. The main synths are almost siren-like and, to me, instill a sort of urgency that contrasts interestingly with the melody it loops. In the end, my head can't help but move back and forth through this one.

The main melody in this track is sampled from the beginning of Plantasia, an incredibly emotional piece that uses sounds from the Mooooooog

Remix B goes along with an excerpt from my short film "Making Friends" . The melancholy tone of the song plays well together with the film's subject matter and has cute, contrasting percussion to liven it all up.

This cover combines both the SNES and Smash Bros. Melee versions of the track. I really like how the snes midi sounds convey a pure feeling of excitement, while melee's composition is a more intricate version of that excitement. Having a love for each, I thought I'd mix both of those elements into one.
