Pour accompagner ton déconfinement, CDL a convoqué Sounds of la cave, jeune artiste émergente, à la selecta musclée, toute en bass et breaks tribaux. 

Pour mieux connaître Sounds of la cave : 

T’es qui meuf ? 

Moi c’est Isabelle, aka Sounds Of la Cave. J’ai choisi ce nom parce que quand j’habitais Marseille mes potes appelait mon appart la Cave (car en sous sol). J’ai commencé à faire de la musique sur mon ordi dans cet appart. Parce que sinon, c’est pas forcément mon habitat d’origine. De base, je suis musicienne classique, bercée par Carl Orff, Tchaïkovski, Strauss, Bach et j’en passe. Je joue des claviers essentiellement (clavecin, piano). J’ai fait un peu de violon avec 
ma maman aussi. C’est quand j’ai eu mon premier ordi que j’ai commencé à m’intéresser à la musique électronique. Je passais plein de temps à télécharger des sons sur LimeWire. 
Un peu plus tard j’ai téléchargé mon premier logiciel de M.A.O. . C’est à Lyon, où je suis depuis 7 ans, que j’ai approfondi le truc et que j’ai pu commencer réellement à produire du son. 
Et c’est encore plus récemment que j’ai commencé à faire du mix.
Je suis autodidacte là dedans, et j’apprécie cet auto apprentissage, car il permet d’avoir une approche personnelle de la production en musique électronique. Cela me change de l’apprentissage que j’ai eu auparavant en conservatoire.
Sinon j’enseigne la musique (piano, formation musicale, M.A.O), dans deux écoles associatives aux alentours de Lyon.

Des projets en cours ?

Actuellement, j’ai deux projets très différents l’un de l’autre. 
Un projet qui s’appelle Troyes, ce sont des chansons traditionnelles du bassin méditerranéen (Turquie, Grèce, Liban etc.). J’y joue de la viole d’amour, un instrument à corde frottées que je joue depuis petite. Avec moi, il y a une chanteuse etune flûtiste. Pour l’instant nous faisons des reprises, mais à l’avenir j’aimerais bien 
qu’on compose ! 
Je suis également dans un projet de Pop qui s’appelle Ecran Total, dans lequel je joue du clavier. Il y a dans ce projet, une chanteuse, un trompettiste, un batteur et une 
bassiste. 
Et puis avec Sounds Of La Cave, je produit des sons dans ma chambre toujours !

Quelles sont tes influences locales ? 

J’ai découvert il y a plusieurs années Flore, une productrice Lyonnaise que j’adore. 
Je suis complètement en phase avec ce quelle produit et les morceaux qu’elle mixe ! 
Sinon j’ai eu plusieurs fois l’occasion de me produire pour le Label Lyonnais « Discolored Field », qui également rassemble des artistes qui m’inspirent beaucoup musicalement ! 

Comment tu aimerais voir l’événementiel et la culture club évoluer à l’avenir ?

J’aimerais entendre plus d’artistes locaux en soirée et dans les festivals de la région. 
Je trouve qu’il y a un énorme potentiel dans cette ville de ce côté là. 
Et puis, il y a certains styles musicaux que j’aimerais plus entendre programmés ici, comme la Dn’B, le Jersey Club, le Grime, le Footwork etc. 
La Bass music a de plus en plus de place sur la scène électronique, et je m’en réjoui !
La culture club doit faire partie de la Culture, au même titre que n’importe quel art, elle se veut démocratique et doit être démocratisée.

Vittorio Cimbali is a Milan-based producer, DJ and co-founder of the "Kick The Beat" project. Over the years he shared the stage with several artists including Rufus, Anil Aras, Cinthie. Originally known as "Sapporo", Vittorio started now to release music under the alias "Vittorio" pushing lo-fi and classic sounds.

His production style is entwined in club culture and raving, driven by powerful grooves and analog machines, all with a unique underground approach.
Vittorio's new EP on Taste Rec. is the result of his new musical vision: 3 tracks delivering contemporary Deep House full of in-your-face kicks, solid basses, floating hi-hats, atmospheric pads and a mixture of acidy and smooth synths.

The EP also comprises Label's heads Man.E's remix showcasing once more their progressive philosophy.
