Many of you know Periphery is my favorite band at the moment, and I want to cover the whole P3 album, and also Hail Stan (that Reptile is a total bop! and Satellites! omg, I'm fan-personing xD)

I recorded the vocals and the back vocals, as for the instrumental, the Periphery peeps are sweethearts and have the producer pack available!

This single came about originally as an instrumental demo written in 2017. The track features technical guitar work centred around an orchestral backing with all the drive and grit that a metalcore song brings.

Angelic vocal harmonies provided by symphonic metal band Edenveil helped Far From Refuge merge numerous genres to create a sound that is sonically unique and coherent.

Influences such as Architects, Periphery and Deftones were large inspirations in the writing of the song.

Lyrically, the song deals with themes of lost love and regret, from the viewpoint of one who has returned to a home that was left broken, romanticizing the past.

All the instruments and vocals were recorded in house by Far From Refuge.
