Quickly getting into the thick of the action for the new year, Clarisse welcome the dancefloor don of Dos Hermanas, Juan Carlos Cruz Lopez aka Wade. The Spaniard has a diary already brimming with global dates for 2016, with spots at Sankey’s Tribal Sessions in Manchester and this year’s Miami Winter Music Conference at the top of the list. Wade’s down-low throbs have peppered Beatport’s top 100 with the labels Lost Records and Suara (see the Eminem-sampling ‘Collapsed Jam’) among his stops en route, and have racked up recognition from Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Luciano and Davide Squillace.

Where push comes to shove and your bar-side stool needs evacuating, ‘Retrojack’ is laden with bumpy, bubble-bursting beats moving to the image of bricks in a washing machine rebounding off a trampoline. Making bodies crunch and lunge, plenty of rap riffin’ spices up the party further with old skool hip-house in mind covering both the block and beach house, and there’s never gonna be anything wrong with a breakdown that winds up and sounds off an air-raid siren before starting all over.

Lowering the weight of the kick drum takes the cunning funkiness of ‘Spined’ to a temple of tribal house. With Wade showing he’s very much for letting the tempo and tempo alone do all the talking, ‘Spined’ would be a dancefloor dominator spoken of with hushed reverence were it not spluttered over by a massive rave hoover and ringing synths going heavy on the panic button. A quicker-stepping marching band you couldn’t wish for, with Wade’s orchestrating a left-right-left sequence like a big bad wolf that’ll quickly have you throwing off winter hats and gloves.

We have asked some of our dearest friends to remix our biggest tracks to date, creating this 'elrow Remixed vol. 1' series. In this delivery you'll be able to find three of our biggest tracks remixed by some of the hottest artists of the genre. These are Max Chapman's 'Body Jack' - our first #1 track in Beatport's general chart, supported by even bigger names as Carl Cox -, CAAL & Baum's 'Downtown Beat' - a major surprise for us, supported by artists ranging from Marco Carola to Dennis Ferrer -, and Ki Kreighton and Makanan's 'Trivial' - that not only blew Beatport, but also is the most streamed track of the label in Spotify -. For the occasion, we've chosen Franky Rizardo, Nathan Barato and Miguel Bastida to remix each of the tracks respectively, creating an unique blend of monstrous tech-house energy, each with a character of its own, creating an unique VA remix series, to be released next May 25th. Summer is hitting hard already, Off Week has gone by and elrow Music doesn't stop! Continuing with our series of hard hitting deliveries, this time for our ERM133 we called some friends to take care of business in this new Rockin Club EP. CAAL & Baum, one of the most successful Spanish acts in the tech-house scene are back and with them a new name comes up: singer, songwriter and producer Solo Tamas. Regular of their production, this time they deliver together one track on this EP, the other one goes by the old pair of friends and, finally, we have a high rolling remix by the label boss, De La Swing.

The EP opes up with 'The Business Club (Original Mix)', a groovy, steady and danceable track, which main focus are Solo Tamas' layback vocal line, giving this track a clear structure and a distinct character, emphasized by the great set of trippy sound FX along the song. Then we have 'Rockin Shoes (Original Mix)', by CAAL and Baum, a track that starts with the same energy, a playful set of 80's infused female vocals and an overall very danceable vibe, which honors the name chosen for it. Finally, closing the EP, we have the rework made by De La Swing, 'Rockin Shoes (De la Swing Go Bananas Remix)' which starts with low energy that increases till the middle of the track, growing while the track develops around the vocal line, with a more playful, groovy and steadier vibe, using a tighter and stronger percussion, making it a great reinterpretation of the original.
