Pour cette nouvelle compilation, Beat X Changers a voulu mettre en lumière des productrices de différents horizons : house, deep house, ambient, hip-hop, broken beat...

Sous la direction artistique de Mab'ish, 11 femmes de différents pays (France, Angleterre, Danemark et États-Unis) ont été réunies. 
Chacune apporte son univers sonore, toujours marqué par cette couleur groovy propre au label Beat X Changers pour créer la compilation "Sororité".

De jeunes productrices côtoient ainsi des femmes plus expérimentées mais toutes sous la même volonté de s'allier dans un esprit de sororité.

Nous estimons qu'il est nécessaire de donner plus de visibilité et de place aux femmes dans les musiques actuelles, trop souvent invisibilisées.

Le label souhaite mettre en avant plus de femmes productrices mais aussi développer une réelle parité pour ses futures sorties.

In this mix, the Ambientologist label takes us through various vocally-infused pieces, across ambient, acoustic, classical and more. The aim was to demonstrate the breadth of emotional efficacy that comes with the human voice, from grounded melancholy to lofty ethereal weightless. Saffron is thrilled to welcome back Elsa Hewitt to the label for our first release of 2020, with a luscious remix of ‘Vee’ by Beula. Elsa’s treatment of Vee morphs between swirling and hypnotic electronica and a euphoric 115bpm house jam. Beula’s deep and powerful vocal is sliced, looped and twisted across 5.5 minutes of uplifting electronics, chimes, warped guitars and sax, with warm, rising synths that drift into an ether of melodic haze.
