This version of Cosmic is meant to keep the original songs essence while transforming it into something that you'd hear playing an old game on some big fuzzy television.

Every section has a different era of video games it sounds like, but there is a primary inspiration behind a lot of the sound.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
You may find while listening that you hear certain elements that sound very much similar to that game.

An enormous amount of the original songs stems have been completely replaced in midi by hand, not including parts added or altered. Redoing everything in MIDI and using specific synths or a soundfont is what allowed me to make any of this happen.

Cosmic (Video Game Remix)

This song is remixed for an Avenged Sevenfold contest held in August 2024. Remix includes many parts of the beautiful original and complex Cosmic song shared by Avenged Sevenfold for the contest plus original voice, voice doubling, guitar/bass play and drum/sounds mixed by myself, Pee-Hell from Halfway To Death (HTD).The remix presents a whole new version of the lyrics with all parts taken from the original lyrics to keep M. Shadows voice singing it most of the time. 

Non-professionally mixed at home with Audacity and Bandlab. A7X gave me the motivation to start playing music again while I'm "halfway to death" in my 40s and motivated me to do home self-recording after watching their ''Breakdown'' series of videos on youtube. This remix is a big thanks you to the group to gave me back the taste of playing music.
