Don’t Go Away

This is King. Written in the band Velvet Melody, now being performed and recorded by the Ezra Scott Ebbesen Band. King speaks about ego and longing, self isolation and confusion of identity. Do I want to be the center of attention? Do I want to focus on myself or others? King speaks truth to the questions. It’s personal, an anecdote to isolation as I struggle with romance. The birds represent support, a support from people with love for myself and love to hope. King talks about it all, because I am the king of it all.
