Full EP coming soon , in loving memory of our friend Karan Joseph. This song was written in Jan 2015' in Sri Lanka, whilst all three of us were going through various personal struggles... This time of intensive writing, sharing and supporting each other, was healing beyond words... This song was one of many unravellings that came out of this time we spent together. Karan was one of the kindest people I've met, and the way in which he listened and played music was beyond anything I have experienced. He will be forever loved and remembered...

‘Your Rage is Necessary, Pt 1’ was birth from a conversation I had with a close friend - Alok Vaid-Menon, around healing ancestral trauma and breaking cycles that perpetuate violence. This song speaks to the tectonic and seismic swell of rage that is necessary to be felt and expressed to heal and birth change . As a survivor and a queer femme person of colour this song is both protest and prayer, this song is a way to remind my own body and other bodies like mine that our rage is valid and necessary.

100% of the proceeds from the first day of sales will go directly to @Forthegworls Emergency Relief Medical Fund which provides Black Trans folks with support with travelling to and from pharmacies and clinics , as well as provides co-pay assistance for medical care if necessary .

ELSZ is a producer, harpist, vocalist and dancer, living most of their life between Australia and Sri Lanka, they are now based in Brooklyn, New York. ELSZ spent the most part of 2017 in Sri Lanka, much of her time was spent learning ELSZ' family art of loom weaving, producing new material for a full length project and working with Alt Ctrl Shift collective to create performance platforms on the island for women and queer identifying people to share their art . ELSZ often performs solo, augmenting the sound of their self made harp and vocals with motion sensors and controllers, their live shows are otherworldly and evocative.

ELSZ is currently recording at NYC oldest recording studio Sear Sound with Grammy award winning  engineer Jeremy Loucas.
