Back after a brief hiatus Surround Sound Recordings return for the New Year and are proud to welcome a new artist to the family who goes by the name of Elteck.  For those of you who are familiar with Elteck’s previous releases you already know what it is.

To kick off the EP we have the title track ‘Aphid’, an upfront, punchy Techy roller with some head smacking Drums that pack more beef than a Sunday roast.

‘Wake Up’ is up next, a sinister introduction, twisted synths and heavenly low end again packing enough punch to leave even the most hardcore fan’s Nose bloody.

Up next we have the first of two brand new Remixes, first up is Elteck’s rework of Lethal’s ‘Black Hole’ from ‘The Fall EP’.  Picking up from where the previous tracks left off.  Swirling atmospherics and crisp Hats give way to a plethora of stomping Drums and driving subs.

Rounding off the EP we have the second of the Remixes, this time it’s Lethal’s turn to stamp his own authority with his remix of the EP’s title track; ‘Aphid’.  A relentless slice of dark and twisted funk that carries a whole heap of 90′s Techstep flavour.  You know how Lethal does his thing.

Surround Sound are back once again for the new year in fine style.  Stay tuned for more heavyweight tracks to come.  We have lots in-store for the next 365!
