Anyone know whats this for? Is it just a remix?

i love how it combines scourge of the universe, stained brutal calamity and raw unfiltered calamity all together its just sounds so awesome!!!

This is going to be a long one. As most of you can probably guess, composing this was a monumental task for me. It took me essentially a year to conceptualize and 1.5 months to actually compose. Both stages of it's creation were very difficult and I often questioned whether if I had the necessary skills to do it. Of course a big source of my nervousness were the expectations set by the previous theme that used to be IZ's theme. CDMusic has moved on from AA a long time ago but the effects of his music on the community is undeniable. Echoes of Infinity especially left with behind itself high expectations to live up to. But that is not the only reason why this theme is this important to me. Echoes of Infinity holds a special place in my heart as the song that actually got me into composing 2 more than 2 years ago. I remember sitting in front of my PC while listening to Echoes of Infinity. It triggered something in me that day. A desire to make my own music. It was so overpowering that I got up and exclaimed "I love music!". It is a memory I remember very vividly and a memory I will always cherish. That day I wanted to eventually compose something as cool as Echoes of Infinity. I've come so far since that day. Realizing the fact that I was composing a theme that will be compared to the theme that got me into composing was terrifying. I hope I was able to live up to the expectations. I don't know if he'll see this or not but I want to thank CDMusic for being the reason for me becoming a composer. As usual I put my emotions into this theme. This time I used my built up rage. This rage has been building up for a number of reasons. This theme is the way I let go of it.

so when the new lore came out, i thought that she was a god (she is not), making her a bad guy (according to yharim anyways)
so i made this based off my misconception to be more intimidating and stuff
this is also why the funny toohoo bells and xeroc chords (or boss rush chords idk) appear

i think ravager is super lame for having no place in the lore that feels good (to me), having no build-up or anything interesting about it, and having a fight that becomes piss fucking easy in phase two once you destroy the floating head since you can just dart back and forth underneath it
so i imagined that brim refused to die after she died and become rav
phase 2 has her bursting out of it and it becomes an anahita and levi type deal
so i stuffed it into this
now that i know more about the new lore, i feel like a total dunce
buy hey, i made another song i don't hate, though i might end up hating it retroactively due to me assuming wrong :)

new lore, sentinels are not sentinels anymore
so their themes have no business being similar to each other's and DoG's
they're their own separate beings now so they deserve their own separate themes
plus it might be just a wee bit misleading for new players who aren't too familiar with the lore and stuff

It turns out that after a brief look around, this is the only proper Threats of the Ocean Floor remix that exists besides the v1 I made four years ago. No, mashups/daycore/nightcore/lyrical versions that use the original version's audio don't count. 

If the cymbal crashes sound similar, they probably are – one of my primary drumset VSTs is likely the same one Dokuro used in the original.
