« Morphers » is a rattling 3 tunes split that was forged between French producer Flore and San Francisco’s Only Now. The release represents the unwritten language shared between both friends over the past 7 years, with their affinity for propulsive percussion workouts and livewire bass music. After releasing on the POLAAR label for years, Only Now and Flore finally met in person for a collab long awaited.

Australian NHS boss Galtier and UK label Synes co-founder Druid team up for a collaborative EP 'Stone Hardware'. The EP’s four tracks are a collection of solo works and collaborative efforts from both producers recorded throughout the duration of late 2020 and early 2021, taking form as a hybrid collection of club-ready dancefloor destroyers.

The established end product of this EP is evident in the release’s title – an organic, primitive sound palette that frequents Galtier’s dynamic sound as heard in the last few years, combined with Druid’s mechanized futurism taken straight from the streets of Neo-Tokyo. Each producer has offered a distinctive focus that they have merged together into one evolving, unanticipated synthesis of proto and post-earthly sound.

Amarhac is an audiovisual artist from Mar del Plata, Argentina. In his productions, futuristic soundscapes are explored through synthetic and digital sounds. He also incorporates digital art and 3D animations to visually enhance the sound scenes.

Asplenium, his 2nd release on the label, moves through different ecosystems within a unified narrative. It is divided into parts, but the aim is to provide a single, uninterrupted listening experience without cuts. The EP incorporates IDM, broken rhythms, deconstructed and ambient tones, all layered under a highly defined palette of textures and sound design. Following up from work on Björk´s 'Fossora', Icelandic trio 'sideproject' debut on SVBKVLT with their new full-length album 'sourcepond'. Taking influence from the fog-covered wetlands of their native island, sideproject transfigure influences from the low-end frequencies of grime and bass music, and reshape it into a haze of transient-smeared beats accompanied by breathy synths that grow ever wetter till they slip beneath the surface tensions of their harmonic stratum. Compared to previous output, 'sourcepond' opts for a more concise approach to their music, stacking up their influences of experimental electronic, Icelandic punk and contemporary club music, and builds a sound that oscillates between melodic hooks and experimental rhythms. Each track carves through the sensuous material, pulling the listener into the dank sourcepond as though magnetic forces were guiding a bird's beak towards misty horizons.

A club-ready album, ‘Fiori Notturni’ that slashes a nocturnal forest landscape with fluorescents and violent bursts of color across 8 moving tracks, including a stellar remix effort from Ancestral Vision on ‘0400’ and a collaboration with B E N N on ‘Lunar Eclipse’.

Capiuz returns on the label with a new club-ready album that slashes through a nocturnal forest landscape with fluorescents and violent bursts of color. Taking its name from a series of paintings called “Bande di Fiori Notturni” by Italian artist Alice Visentin, the project goes through a wide array of influences and bpms. Terra Nuda (naked earth) acts as an opener fusing a foggy drone with drum breaks and dance hall syncopations. Hectic follows up with a more bass oriented attitude incarnated in a heavy pounding kick pattern and driven by metallic drums with a restless spirit. The sounds and textures of Fiori Notturni are heavily inspired by the works of John Cage and his use of percussive instruments for both rhythmic and textural purposes. These influences become pretty clear in slower cuts like Black Needle and the title track, where jingles, rattles and other high-pitched instruments create a moving bed for the rhythmic section. Other works such as 0400 and the collaboration with label head B E N N, Lunar Eclipse, bring a faster pace to the project with a higher focus on rhythmic layering. Before giving its way to the Ancestral Vision remix, the “night” is closed off by Hallucinogen, a longer track driven by a steady kick that plays with different odd timed patterns to create an exciting and enveloping trip.

Capiuz is the experimental dance project of producer and performer Luca Favaro. Based in Italy, his genre-merging production focuses on exploring rhythm and sound design in a club context. Often leaning towards live performances, Capiuz’s music takes the form of a heavy hitting outburst filled with heavy bass, breakcore progressions and granular textures. He is currently the host of a show on Radio Raheem and has published with Unizone, Over My Body and Early Reflex. As a programmer he’s developing max for live devices with HIDE Productions, including granular audio effects and instruments and flexible percussive synths.

Jan Macháček aka Ancestral Vision is a Prague-based producer, sound artist, DJ and co-founder of Unizone label and radio show. His productions are full of experimental sound design that fills the gaps between earworm-ish melodies and contemporary club echoes. Compositions written by Ancestral Vision are often both epic and intimate, serving as a personal diary of his sound research practice and studio jams.

"Hakka" refers to the Hakka people in Taiwan. As a descendant of the traditional Hakka ethnic, B E N N has been influenced by numerous traditional Taiwanese instruments since childhood. Through sampling Hakka opera music, he has successfully created one of the best fusion examples as a dance music producers.

Sleep is an instrumental part of our lives that in a capitalistic and continuously accelerating world becomes just an inconvenience. Deprived of it we begin to fall apart like flawed machines but deprived of dreams we do not suffer. Dreaming is not indispensable, yet we keep longing for it, longing to escape into it. Śnić is a deep dive into Femmexy’s depression-induced insomnia and need for physical rest, mirrored by their mental exhaustion and yearning for the escape of dreams. The LP is a diary of sorts, all music present was created during those sleepless nights that blend together into one mass of frantic thoughts and lost dreams. Nothing’s louder than silence in a lonely dark bedroom.

Artist Bio:
Femmexy is a mercurial, chaotic entity born from the depths of the internet. They are the avatar of the metamodern confusion permeating our contemporary world. They are the sign of our times, a synthetic agent of everything human and flawed, forever lost in volatile currents of culture, technology and emotion. Femmexy’s purpose is to explore the points of connection between these aspects through high-speed crushing beats, melancholic melodies and internet-based samples.

Tymoteteusz Wojciechowski, the person behind Femmexy, is a Polish artist, producer and DJ residing in London. Their journey with music started at 18 when after discovering, what was to be named, “deconstructed club” music they decided to crack FL Studio and started creating noisy and collage-esque edits which culminated in a Femme EP (released by SouldFeeder) and Long Hair Don’t Care mixtape.

To pursue their artistic endeavours further, they studied Fine Arts and Film at Lancaster University where they further developed the Femmexy persona and their musical capabilities.

In 2023 they co-produced a soundtrack to KimKim’s (a well-known Danish artist and musician) experimental play, Friskabte. Femmexy continues exploring their sound identity and how mental health has an impact on it on their debut album – ŚNIĆ.
